As an example, this is the advancement table for the Bastard class which combines the traditional fighter, specialist and mage roles.
You can use this as the only advancement table if you don't want to use distinct (optional) character classes. Each player can choose whether to roll as a muggle or magic user.
As an aside, making classes (totally optional) is easy in Ultra-Bastard:
- Step one, make an advancement table.
- You are done. There is no step two.
